I'm back. Back in Stinkers-land. I'm not sure how i feel just yet, everyone's been asking me "Are you excited?!?!". My answer is always the same, half and half. I'm now sitting at Starbucks soaking it all in, it feels like an out of body experience. Maybe it's the lack of sleep talking, but it doesn't feel like I'm actually here. Weird yes, I have long established my profound weirdness with my friends.
Starbucks is insanely noisy, but it's far to hot to sit at one of the tables outside. Hot air rising from the ground, plus humidity and rain is not a good combination. Most people may think we look forward to rain here but trust me, it's wayyyyy worse after the rain subsides.
I think everything will hit me in one go only two months later. Maybe after the apartment is ready and I'm working 9-5 (I wish) like a typical person, squishing day after day on public transport systems. I miss my car already. Call me lazy, but one cannot be more lazy than Singaporeans. At the airport this morning, a lady honked our car out of the way because she had to park as close as possible to the entrance, despite an abundance of parking lots available. 2 cars is a HUGE walking distance apparently. And my friends called me lazy for driving to Uni. Hahaha.
Ok I'm gonna keep soaking up the absurdity of Singapore and try not to kill anyone in the process.
Love.
